People who think that they are excellent car mechanics would effortlessly fill any phone book in any city. The figure who are actually good mechanics would fill nearly half a page. The difference between an individual thinking they know how to fix a car and a pro mechanic is the difference between a Ferrari and a piece of cheese. One drives a far better than the other. The days when you could complete a decent job on a car with the help of few basic tools and a keen look on your face are long gone. The best thing to do for yourself is to pay little attention to car issues. Don’t act lazy regarding weird sticks in the steering or try to make money making bets on whether the brakes will work or not. Figure out why you feel like you are driving a pile of broken springs when you hit the road, and you will find your suspension problems.

Find the issues and get something done about them. These jobs are way beyond imagination of DIY, even for sound car mechanics, without sort of technical backup needed to complete them.

Then there is little package of fun, the engine. Nothing similar to a nice day’s work impairing your car, is there?  This is yet another case where you’re not just dealing with one problem, and “fixing” one can actually make things even worse.
